EMR Coaching Camp - Crystal Creek - 30 Years
This
EMR supported coaching camp at Crystal Creek, Alexandria will
this year celebrate its 30th year of operation. The first camp, back in 1977, was
for under 11 & 12 age groups only. Due to its popularity, it was decided to
conduct 2 camps per season. Camps are now conducted for the Under 10 to Under 11
age group and the Under 12 to Under 14 age group. The original camp coordinator,
David Tracy and his wife Kay were in attendance along with Olympians Trevor
Vincent, Bob Lay, Charlene Rendina & Michelle Lightfoot. The coaching at the
camp is of its usual high standards thanks to the quality of our Regions
coaches. Thank you to those coaches and camp parents who give so freely of their
time to assist our athletes.
EMR
continues to offer provide this development activity to EMR Centre athletes.
