VLAA STATE TRACK and FIELD – NOW 21st and 22nd MARCH The VLAA in discussions with Olympic Park Trust has been advised that Melbourne Storm has been scheduled to play at Olympic Park on Sunday 15 March as part of the 2009 NRL Home and Away Season. Unfortunately the NRL has priority over any other organisation in respect to bookings at Olympic Park therefore the Association has discussed several options in relation to the ongoing organisation of this event. VLAA have decided it is in the best interests of all concerned to remain at Olympic Park given that last year was moved to a regional venue. In order to remain at Olympic Park we have had to change the date to the weekend of 21/22 March, 2009. This will not affect Region events which have already been scheduled.
